John Moody 11/7/2010 10:02:38 PM IC2118 The Witch Head Nebula. This one is really a difficult object to image and I am not happy with the result. It took a tremendous amount of post processing and is so dim that I had to shoot AND process the object the previous weekend and compare star patterns to frame it. This is the best 56 of 65 subs plus 20 darks and 50 flats shot with a Canon 40D on a Celestron NS11CF with Hyperstar mounted on a Losmandy CG-11 and autoguided with an Orion DSCI-2. This was shot Friday night 11/5/10 from about midnight till 3:00AM
