Got some new gear up and running (finally) after sitting in boxes for months. The following photo is NGC 4565 (Caldwell 38) imaged on 3-10-10 at approximately 10:00 PM. Equipment used was CGEM Mount, CF C8 SCT scope for imaging, Orion Short Tube 80mm ACHRO with Orion SSAG Autoguider, Camera used is the Canon XSi (450D) with the Meade .63 Focal reducer at 90mm from the Camera CMOS (approximately F6.5). Image acquired with Canon EOS Utility. 26 - 3 Minute light subs, 5 Darks and 75 Flats. Pre-processed (calibration, aligning and stacking) in Images Plus 3.82a, Post Processed in Adobe Photoshop CS3. I am really happy with all of the new gear and how well everything works. This was my very first experience with a GEM computerized mount.
