5/16/2011 8:19:11 PM Posidonius crater measures 99X99km and is located at 30 deg E by 32 deg N, pretty much on the 4 day old terminator at the NE edge of Mare Serenitatis. Wall height is fair; floor is flat with numerous craterlets and lines of crest. It is named after the 2nd century BC Greek writer. Taken through a Meade LX200GPS 14" with a 2X barlow. FOV is around 1.5 minutes. Taken with a Phillips SPC900NC cam. 500 best frames of 10,000 were stacked in Registax6 and processed in Photoshop. Seeing was good.
