8/27/2011 2:12:27 AM Here is a quick mono image of supernova PTF11kly in Galaxy M101. It was discovered on August 24th and has increased in brightness. Due to its low altitude in the NW, I was only able to capture 60 minutes of luminance data (6X10 min subs). The supernova is located on the Southern side of the galaxy as marked. Processed in CCDStack & Photoshop.
