Jim Aldrich jim_cj@hughes.net 10/30/2007 4:54:02 PM Comet: 17P/Holmes 10/29/07 Meade 14" RCX F/8 SBIG STL Camera Comet is still large & out gasing. The coma appears to be approximately 9 arc/min in diameter with a 5-6 arc/min core. A gas jet can be clearly seen expanding the surrounding halo.
