5/18/2010 11:07:49 PM Here's my attempt to redeem myself with M5. I shot this one 5-18-10 with the Meade 10" LX200ACF with the Meade 6.3 Focal Reducer, so at F6.3 and FL/1575. This is my first image with the Orion StarShoot Pro V.2 which I have had for 5 months. 19-30 second subs, 10 Darks. Initial Processing in Maxim DL Essentials, Post Processing in Images Plus.

5/8/2010 7:53:49 AM Here's a reprisal of M104, taken with the Hyperstar on 5-6-10. It's the last image I took for the first Hyperstar session. Collimination of the Hyperstar is an issue that needs to be resolved. Also, soon I will be able to do flats (just got an EL Panel).

5/6/2010 3:33:54 PM M51 Taken 5-5-10. This is my first hyperstar image. There is a bit of tweaking that needs to be done to get really good pictures out of the system. I hope to get this done in the next few weeks and I am aiming for the kind of quality images John produces with his system.

Not a great photo but lots of galaxies in a single field of view. There are 25 labeled here, but at 100% resolution you can see many more - along with lots of noise and some not very round stars!
