4/17/2010 2:47:25 AM M81 is my first attempt imaging through my LX200 ACF 10" with a focal reducer. I've had the reducer for 8 months and never used it. The results aren't really bad but they aren't so good either. I had to wrestle with all the settings in Images Plus to get a halfway decent image. Anyway, here are the results... Telescope: Meade LX200 ACF 10" w/Meade 6.3 Focal Reducer Camera: Canon Rebel XSi ISO 800 35 Subframes at 50 seconds each/25 Darks

3/19/2010 7:11:04 PM My very first AP Taken 2-10-10. The Orion Nebula - taken with an Explore Scientific 80mm Triplet APO piggybacked on a LX200GPS. Camera is a Canon Rebel XSi modded by Hap Griffin. Image consists of 50-40 second light frames and 10 dark frames at ISO 1600. Image processed with Images Plus 3.8 (and John Moody's help - Thanks John!)
