It may have been cloudy Wednesday 10/27/04 in the Ozarks, but in Miami, FL there was enough clear sky to observe and photograph the eclipse. Photographed with a Sony DSC-P52 digital camera, afocal mount, through a 50mm finder scope and 25mm eyepiece. Composite built in Photoshop.

The waxing moon at 8 days old. South is up, and the Clavius crater complex rims are illuminated against the stark blackness of the darkened crater floors near the top of the image.
Home-made 6" f7.5 newtonian, Sony DSC-P52 digital camera hand held, afocal.

Great Orion Nebulae
30 minutes of OIII (Oxygen HA Data) used as a luminosity layer for a 10 minute RGB exposure.

Scope Used: LXD55 8" UHTC Schmidt Newtonian

Camera: Canon 10D

Lumicon OIII Filter for OIII Data
