7/2/2012 12:31:47 AM Here's an image made from an old moon video I had forgotten about and found by accident on a flash drive. It was taken with the Orion SSIII camera, Meade 10" ACF scope @F/10 in February of 2010. This image is a composite of the best 90 out of 346 frames.

6/29/2012 3:13:41 PM Had some time today to get the Coronado PST out and view the prominences - which were amazing. I tried to capture them with the Celestron but the tuning for the flares was difficult on the laptop screen with the bad seeing. Anyway, this is what I got. Imaged 6-29-12 with the Coronado PST, Celestron NexImage 5 and the Orion Sirius mount.

6/29/2012 12:37:53 AM I got about an hour under the moon tonight (6-28-12) and was able to get some nice moon shots. Seeing and transparency was really good. Shot with the Celestron NexImage 5 planetary camera, Orion Starblast 4.5" Newt on the Orion Sirius mount.
