The negative image of the core activity clearly show the jet emanating from the nucleus.

Comet is still large & out gasing. The coma appears to be approximately 9 arc/min in diameter with a 5-6 arc/min core. A gas jet can be clearly seen expanding the surrounding halo.

9/27/2007 4:29:40 PM Here is my chart at last, showing the aproximate position of "True Polar North". The month is at the top of each box, and I assume alignment time is 22:00 hours or 10 PM for a setup time guess. The yellow + is polar north. The note at the bottom of the box is the direction that the hour hand on your watch would show, to the stars Dubhe and Merak, the stars that point to Polaris. Many charts will vary, I used about ten different charts for reference, then the Software Bisque "The Sky" for final reference. I hope this helps your polar alignment, and I also hope my chart is at least "accurate". Thanks, Dan Callahan, 2007. Feel free to print and distribute...
